Why register with FoAH?
By registering with FoAH and receiving your own username and password, you can:
-Become part of a community and become eligible for technical support
-Submit articles to our newsletter section
-Subscribe to a variety of periodical emails such as the 'latest events' and 'newsletter articles'
-It's free!
How to register with FoAH?
On the main page of the FoAH site (www.foah-jordan.org), please navigate to the 'login form' (lower left part of the screen) and click on 'create an account'. You will be asked to select a username, name -which will appear as the author of your articles, a password and a valid email address. You will be sent a system generated email asking you to confirm your account. Please click on the link provided. Your account will be activated, you can now login using your username and password.
How do i register to receive monthly updates i.e. upcoming events, newsletter articles, etc.? All FoAH members will receive updated lists of upcoming events and latest newsletter articles directly in the their registered email accounts at the beginning of each month. If you don't or to notify us of your email account change, please contact FoAH directly via email or provided phone numbers.
How do i submit an article to be published under the newsletter section?
You must be a registered user with FoAH (please see above). After successfully loging into your account, a special 'user menu' will appear of your FoAH website (under the main menu). In there you have
four main options:
1. Your details: Modify your account details as you please
2. Submist an Article: Allows you to submit your articles to the FoAH administrator. Your articles will be published once approved for live content by our administrator. To expedite this process, please contact us
via email or phone at FoAH. Please continue to read on for detailed instructions.
3. Modify/Delete Article: Allows you to modify or delete your own articles only.
4. Logout
Submitting Articles:
Once you have clicked 'Submt an Article' you will be redirected to a special section where you can type your text. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with the graphical interface provided. For support,
please don't heistate to contact us. You may include attachments such as PDF documents, ZIP files or various images with your articles but only after the first save. You will receive a message to that effect if
you forget to save.
IMPORTANT: Please navigate below the text area and set the following:
-Section: Please set it to 'NEWSLETTER'. Your articles WILL NOT BE PUBLISHED if you don't set the sections correctly.
-Category: Please set it to 'NEWSLETTER ARTICLE' OR 'SPECIAL NOTICES'.
-Start/Finish Publishing: Please set the start date and finish date of publishing. The article will NOT BE PUBLISHED if these values are incorrect or have expired. Please note that your article will always
be published if you set the 'finish publishing' date to blank.
Please note that your article will only be published once the administrator has authorized it. To expedite this procedure, please contact FoAH via email, phone or fax.
How do i attach images or other files to my article?
In the 'Submit an Article' window, please navigate to the bottom on the text area and click 'Add Attachment'. Please note that you need to save your article before attaching any files to it.
How do i become an FoAH member?
Please navigate to the main menu and click 'Membership'. Download the application and follow the instructions on that page.
